The Candidate must have experience in maintaining GIS database, mapping and documenting data for pipeline operations in oil and gas industry.
Maintain, update and trouble shoot GE PVI system and ESRI ArcGIS.
Develop procedures for acquiring and maintaining pipeline GIS data.
Process, Analysis and integrate GIS data of pipeline centreline and update satellite imagery.
Coordination with engineers dealing with NOC and identify, update NOC and Excavation locations.
Establish test data sets for use in GIS software pipeline database.
Coordinate with IT Department to establish and implement procedures for updating and maintaining implementation geo database.
A working knowledge in scripting languages and tools such as SQL, Python, Safe software FME, ArcGIS Model Builder, and other spatial data processing tools and techniques.
Development of proprietary GIS application to streamline all activities related to pipeline Division
