About Geomatics
This role is required by DAR Geomatics Division.
DAR Geomatics is one of the main divisions of Dar Al Riyadh Group, specialized in execution of numerous spatial activities including Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), Geodetics Surveying , Cadastral Surveying , Remote Sensing , Map Production, Image Processing , Photogrammetry , Tracking System (AVL) , Digital Elevation Modeling , 3-D and fly-through simulations , and lots more. DAR Geomatics has partnership with well-known International Companies such as ESRI- USA and GIS Photogrammetric Company.
About Your Job:
We are seeking to hire a Geographical Information System (GIS) Trainer to develop and implement ESRI trainings / courses in ArcGIS for Desktop, Server, Geo-Database and extensions.
In this role you will be responsible of produce an ArcGIS customized training material to satisfy client requirements. To help clients translate and implement real-world needs into practical, state-of-the-art, GIS technology-driven solutions using ESRI's enterprise GIS technology.
You will produce supplementary training material, which will include entry of new assets and features as well as new attributes on existing assets and features.
You will participate in GIS training plan development to include project specific drafting procedure manuals and training materials.
You will provide train-the-train instruction.
About You:
To excel in this role you will ideally possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably in Geomatics or GIS.
You will demonstrate a proven 5 to 10 years of experience in providing ESRI instructor led courses for Desktop, Server, Geo-database and extensions.
You will have experience producing end-user documentation including procedure manuals and training documents.
You will demonstrate experience working with ESRI ArcGIS desktop, complex ArcGIS desktop extensions and ArcGIS Server applications.
You are ESRI Certified Trainer in ArcGIS for Desktop/Server (10.1 preferable 10.2) courses:
ArcGIS 1: Introduction to GIS.
ArcGIS 2: Essential Workflows.
ArcGIS 3: Performing Analysis.
Designing Maps with ArcGIS.
Editing Data with ArcGIS for Desktop (10.1) (preferable 10.2)
ArcGIS for Server: Sharing GIS Content on the Web (10.1) (preferable 10.2)
Quality Control Using ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop (10.1) (preferable 10.2)
Programming ArcGIS for Desktop Using Add-Ins (10.1) (preferable 10.2)
Arc Hydro: GIS for Water Resources (10.1) (preferable 10.2)
ArcGIS for Server: Site Configuration and Administration (10.1) (preferable 10.2)
Building Web Applications Using the ArcGIS API for Silverlight (preferable 10.2)
Editing and Maintaining Parcels Using ArcGIS (preferable 10.2)
You should posess excellent interpersonal, writing, presentation and leadership skills.
