By the look of this map it seems as though the migration patters of registered voters have are beginning to shape as though the population of others that have the same political views contributes to the decision making process in re-locating. In the example above the republican population of Portland, Oregon has been disbursing outwards towards other parts of the state as the city has been growing with more liberal ideologies. This phenomenon of self-segregation in terms of political parties has become more apparent in other parts of the country as well,even more so in the republican party. Because of the scandalous course that this 2016 election year has played out, I can't help but wonder if new migration patterns of the Republican Party will unfold because of the divide and higher tensions between those staying true to the establishment or those feeling betrayed by it.
