Today at IFA in Berlin TomTom announced its new line of GPS watches designed for outdoor activities.*TomTom*Adventurer is build on the foundation of the TomTom Spark but it’s equipped with a couple of features that makes it’s perfect for hiking, trail running and winter sports.
The watch has a rugged*strap in order to keep it safe in extreme conditions. The good thing is that you can switch the strap to*the slimmer one featured with any TomTom’s new running watches. Like any other serious outdoor watch, Adventurer has a built-in barometer, altimeter and compass. An extended battery will keep it going for over 20h in the GPS-tracking mode. The device*still feature an optical heart-rate monitor and build-in music player like any other TomTom watch.*Adventurer has a few dedicated modes for tracking skiing, snowboarding, hiking and trail running among others.*It*will be available in October starting at $349.
Besides Adventurer TomTom released a new updated Music watch Spark 3 as well as TomTom*Touch – the firsts activity tracker that measures your body fat.
