Roman expeditions to Lake Chad and Western Africa

I did this map a few weeks ago for the FixWikiMaps project:

The Wikipedia page where this would have gone has since been deleted so I figured I'd post it here. This was to accompany an article about the expeditions to Lake Chad and Western Africa undertaken by the Roman Empire. I've shown all the cities that were listed in the text, plus Carthage. For reference, I included the modern country borders as well as the approximate borders of the Roman provinces about halfway through the time range of the expeditions (one thing of note was that Mauretania was split into two provinces somewhere during that period. I say approximate borders, as there was no GIS data available, I had to copy them out of a historic atlas.

As I usually work for a client I found it a bit odd to have complete control over the content and style of the map. I personally like to think I do my best work when there is somebody else calling the shots for me.

So as the page I created it for has been deleted, I doubt I'll do any updates to it, but I would still welcome any suggestions.

The FixWikiMaps project is an initiative where people can both nominate maps on Wikipedia that are in need of updating or redoing and volunteer to actually do that.
