Dave is passionate about change leadership and will discuss a proven approach to managing change. Spoiler alert:*If-Then statements feature prominently in this approach, which has nothing to do with programming.

Modernize Your GIS: A People Strategy Approach

  • When*and*Where: Thursday morning at 10:30 in the*Esri Pavilion,*Platform Enablement demo theater
  • Who: Kelly Auman, Esri Training Specialist
  • What:*This conference surrounds you with amazing technology that conjures exciting possibilities for your GIS program. Figuring out how to apply those ideas when you get back to the office is the challenge. Kelly will share practical tips to get your organization doing more with GIS, specifically Web GIS workflows and apps.
The Power of Workforce Development: A People Strategy for Organizations

  • When and Where:*Thursday afternoon at 1:30, Room 17A at the Convention Center.
  • Who:*Esri Training Consultant Caroline Walker
  • What:*Do not leave San Diego without discovering one of the secret ingredients to earning executive sponsorship for your GIS program. Caroline will give an overview of the three-phase workforce development planning process and will be joined by a three-person customer panel sharing stories from the trenches. Each has first-hand knowledge about how*the planning process*sparked*momentum and progress on strategic initiatives.
