The Performance Engineering team at Esri is excited to release a new build of PerfQAnalyzer (PQA), build 172.*This build further exposes the Workspace and FeatureClass using EditCommand script command; allowing the user to gather performance metrics for opening a database and feature class.** To test this, compile the installed MyCommand sample and copy the MyCommand.dll output assembly to your \ArcGIS\ScriptCommands folder.* Start the PerfQA Analyzer and load the script named ‘Workpace, FeatureClass Broadcast Test.scr’ located in the sample folder.* Edit the script pointing it to a valid Workspace and FeatureClass if needed, then execute the script.

Additional information regarding this build pertains to licensing.* The standalone version of the PQA now works with any ArcGIS Desktop basic or editing license; previous PQA builds required an editing license.* The ArcMap version add-in version of the PQA does not check out a license, ArcMap checks out a license, this has been the licensing model since the original release of PQA.** Lastly, as of this build (172), the PerfQA Analyzer for ArcGIS 10.3 requires .NET 4.5; all earlier versions of the use .NET 4.0.
