So it’s back….and there’s a longer story to “I’m back”….which would actually be in Chattanooga.
MaptimeCHA Happened for a bit and as it happens we all get busy and it fell off the radar. So I’m restarting the chapter and we’re looking for bodies. One of the things we want to do is restart the mapping of Chattanooga. Several of us have been active over the years but it’s time to step it up. So On November 10th I’m going to try to get you fired up about OSM in Chattanooga. As this continues we’re going to be talking about more than just OSM. Possibly we will cover the history of Mapping by TVA in Chattanooga. It’s only up from here.
We also want to spread the word on mapping. To be honest I’ve never kept up with maptime as an organization. I can get behind making geospatial fun and bringing enthusiasts into it though.
So without further Adieu:
Show up. Hang out. If you’re good we might go out and visit a local brewery afterwards.
