Anybody here an expert on GeoTiff formats? I'm working in Natural Scene Designer (NSD) using GMTED elevation data for the globe.
When I make a GeoTiff export from ArcGIS NSD won't open it. When I take that same GeoTiff and open in QGIS then 'Save As...' a new .tif I get a GeoTiff that NSD will SOMETIMES open. Meaning the output file may or may not be readable by NSD (not that the same file occasionally opens in NSD).
When I check file type info in PS they look the same: 16bit greyscale.
Anybody know what may be going on here?
