Here’s a day-by-day breakdown of sessions that will feature GeoPlanner and its underlying design and planning process, Geodesign:

Tuesday, July 21:

  1. GeoPlanner: Web-Based Site Suitability with Weighted Raster Overlay (Room 09, Technical Workshop, 3:15 PM – 4:30 PM) – Explore how GeoPlanner can assist in identifying and targeting sites of interest to your organization or company through web-based suitability analysis using weighted raster overlay.
  2. GeoPlanner for ArcGIS: Configuring for Use in Your Organization (Demo Theater 10 – Apps, 5:30 PM- 6:15 PM) – Learn how to create custom templates or configurations that represent the data, symbols, attributes and default values important to planning in your industry.
Wednesday, July 22:

  1. GeoPlanner for ArcGIS: An Overview (Ballroom 06 A, Technical Workshop, 1:30 PM- 2:45 PM) – Lean about core functionality of GeoPlanner, including importing data, using built-in assessment tools, sketching and comparing scenarios.
  2. Bring Geodesign into Your Business (Implementation Center, Demo Theater Presentation, 4:30 PM- 5:15 PM). Determine ways in which your business can deliver powerful strategic insight by using*Geodesign for scenario planning.
Thursday, July 23:

  1. Geodesign for Conservation Easement Prioritization (Demo Theater 1 – Non-Profit, 11:30 AM- 12:15 PM). Discover how GeoPlanner can support conservation planning following the principles of Geodesign.
