At the Geospatial World Forum 2016, the Agricultural Stress Index System (ASIS) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has been granted with the Geospatial World Excellence Award 2016. As scientific and technical developer of ASIS, VITO-Remote Sensing closely collaborates with FAO since the start in 2012.
